Our ♡

We are people who just get people. And we know how to operationalize our intuitive sensibility to help people and organizations become who they want to be. We know a lot of people do this work. However, it’s the way we do it that feels authentically unique.

Our Approach

  • Liberative

Our approach intentionally integrates culturally appropriate psycho-education and evidence-based practices, with an Ecowomanist framework for anti-oppressive mental model development, to account for, and respond to, the impacts of historic trauma and systemic oppression on organizational, interpersonal, and individual health.

  • Preventative

You shouldn't have to be sick or in crisis to get help. We take a proactive approach toward mental health and wellness that combines preventative wellness strategies, evidence-based practices, and our client’s intuitive wisdom, to help strengthen the psychological, physical and emotional health of communities of color before crisis occurs.

  • Ecological

We believe firmly in building community as a means of preventative care. Understanding the ripple effect of one’s personal wellness on the organizations, communities and ecosystems in which we live, our approach builds upon the burgeoning understanding of mind/body/soul connection, and incorporates connection to community and the environment as core areas of healing, and essential aspects of preventative health care.

  • Interdisciplinary

Nature teaches us that everything is interconnected. It's important our health care is too. Our integrated health programs intentionally weave multiple health disciplines together to facilitate an inclusive, integrated and empowering experience for all in our care.

Our Unique Structure

Beyond our integrated approach to mental health and wellness, the collective serves as a platform for people of color to own and grow their own mental health and wellness practice without having the pressure of handling all the institutional work that often overwhelms practitioners. A percentage of all our earnings goes back to the collective to support health care stipends, student loan relief, child/dependent care stipends and sabbaticals for practitioners in need of these benefits. As we grow, each member brings our professional strength to the collective to contribute to the financial freedom of the whole.
